I’ve decided basically to set up a blog to voice myself on, as my main blog is too clouded with various things that mightn’t garner a lost of interest in terms of politics, society, and international relations, the three main areas this blog will cover really.
So basically I’m an 18 year old Irish male, studying IR in Dublin. If you go to the link on the right, you’ll see where I stand on the political compass as I don’t have the time to go through my full political beliefs here.
My blog title comes from the speech in Oslo given by Norwegian Prime Minster, Jens Stoltenberg (one of my political heroes), in the wake of the devastating attacks in Oslo and Utøya in July 2011. The url basically says „Do it!”, a message he gave asking young people to carry on the spirit of the evening of remembrance and peaceful tolerance, rather than sudden reaction. The title reads „Get involved. Care.” and that’s basically what I plan to do, is to voice my cares in relation to events here.
